Marlin G. Helsley

Dec. 24, 1960 – Oct. 12, 2018

Marlin G. Helsley, 57, Hollidaysburg, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening at his residence.

He was born in Roaring Spring, son of the late Glenn and Joan (Marlin) Butler.

He is survived by five brothers: Philip Helsley, Steve Helsley, Joseph Helsley, Ralph Helsley, and Ben Butler; and two sisters: Glennette Yingling and Betty Aungst.

Marlin was a United States Army Veteran of Desert Storm and the First Gulf War, with 14 ½  years of service.

He worked in the parts department at Smith Transport.

At Marlin’s request, there will be no visitation or services.
