Rodger A. Chamberlain

November 25, 1960 ~ August 14, 2019 (age 58)
 

Rodger A. Chamberlain, 58, of Duncansville, formerly of Altoona, passed away Wednesday August 14, 2019 at Nason Hospital. He was born November 25, 1960 in Norristown son of Andrew and Mary Louise (Cox) Chamberlain.

 

Surviving are his parents of Roaring Spring, a daughter Heather Strayer (Adam) of East Freedom, a son Jesse Chamberlain (Mandy) of Virginia, 4 grandchildren Kimberly, Sarah, Andrew and Rosalynn, a brother Terry Chamberlain (Beth) of Duncansville, a sister Sherry Yingling (Dan) of Imler, two nieces and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Matthew Chamberlain. 


Rodger was a 1978 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1978-1981. He was a member of the Duncansville VFW and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his grandchildren and his dog “Happy”.

 

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019, at the Claysburg Senior Center, 122 Senior Drive, Claysburg, where a meal will be served following the service.
