James Bradley Swan

May 28, 1959 – May 7, 2015

James Bradley Swan, 55, Hollidaysburg, died Thursday at UPMC Altoona after a long battle with multiple myeloma.

He was born in Altoona, son of Dorothy (Woodcock) Swan and the late Gerald Swan.

Surviving are his mother of Hollidaysburg; five siblings: Deborah Clabaugh and husband, Jeff, Stephen and wife, Alice, John Rodney and wife, Claudine, Robert Mark and wife, Lisa, and Lori Lee Crone and husband, David; nephews: Chris Clabaugh, Cody Clabaugh, Adam Swan, David Lee Crone and Mark Swan; and nieces: Colleen Swan, Brittany Swan and Cassie Swan.

James graduated from Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School in 1978 and worked in construction in the Hollidaysburg area prior to his illness. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed bow and rifle hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the noon funeral service Monday, May 11, 2015, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, Pastor Roland Cadle officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
