David B. Resig

AUGUST 27, 1960 ~ AUGUST 8, 2019 (AGE 58)

David B. Resig, 58, Duncansville, died Thursday, in Nashville, Tenn., after being struck by a vehicle.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Donald and Elizabeth (Sippola) Resig.

Surviving are his partner, Amy Resig of Duncansville; a daughter, Sara J. Lechner and husband, Marty Jr., in Michigan; a special grandson, Calvin; five sisters: Deb Curfman, Michelle Resig, Andrea Campbell, Lisa Stoops and Mary Ulsh; three brothers: Joe, Ken, and Larry; and several nieces and nephews

David graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School and Vale Tech Institute. He was a fleet mechanic for 39 years at US Foods.

He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing.

Friends will be received from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2019, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m.
