Karen J. Chappell

July 8, 1960 – Dec. 3, 2020

Karen J. Chappell, 60, formerly of Bellwood, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alma Martz Yingling, as well as a son, Bryan W. Chappell, and Clarissa A. Chappell.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, James Chappell; son, Jeremy Chappell (Tara) of State College; and daughter, Melissa Eaton (Brad) in Kentucky; grandchildren, Daniel and Gracie; and by her three sisters: Nancy Yingling, Shirley Young and Jane Baird. She was also blessed with several nephews and a great-niece.

Karen was a 1978 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School.

At this time, there will be no service. A celebration of life will be held at a later time for close friends and family.
